Every board has its own Accountant and legal advisor, I was originally invited by a former Coraggio Chair to assist in an accounting advisory capacity on that board.

It was a leap of faith but I was keen to explore new horizons and expand my professional knowledge and business network.

That was 3 years ago and my Coraggio journey continues.

Coraggio has provided me with a diverse network of people from different businesses and backgrounds for me to contact should I ever require help, assistance, and advice.

At the regular monthly forums, I always leave having learnt something to support my growth or develop either personally or professionally.

Coraggio has benefitted my own businesses as a number of members have become clients.

Although I am the business owner, Coraggio has created a sense of ownership and accountability for me to achieve definitive and timely outcomes for my business.

It has provided me with the opportunity to “give back” to other members by offering my 30 years accounting experience and expertise to help them grow and advance their businesses.

Coraggio members are from different generations forging the old and the new which has greatly assisted me in appreciating and respecting the next generation of business entrepreneurs and their mindset.

Coraggio has proved a valuable forum in providing me with knowledge about the heightened use of technology required to be competitive in business and the new types of available technology.

Finally, I have met a large number of quality people over this journey. We have established a camaraderie, shared life’s experiences, both pleasant and unpleasant and laughed together all of which would not have eventuated had I not embarked on the Coraggio community.
