Wayne Bennett AM, OAM is one of the most respected and successful figures in Australian rugby league history. Currently head coach of the South Sydney Rabbitohs, his career spans over four decades and includes seven grand final wins, the most games coached in the NRL, and 24 seasons with the Brisbane Broncos. He has also led teams such as the Dolphins, Newcastle Knights, Queensland Maroons, and national teams for Australia, England, and Great Britain.

Recognised with both the Medal and Member of the Order of Australia, Wayne was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2012 and the NRL Hall of Fame in 2024.
