About the Speaker
David was a senior executive and Director of Smorgon Consolidated Industries which was one of Australia’s largest family companies.
After the sale of Smorgon Consolidated Industries in 1996 David and his three sons established Generation Investments focusing on business opportunities, equity and property investments.
Testament to his wealth of experience in family business, David was named the inaugural chairman of Family Business Australia in 1997, a position he held for six years.
In 2014 David was appointed Executive Chairman of the PwC Family Advisory division which assisted families in business to improve the health of their family.
From January 2019, David has continued his Family Advisory work under his own company Pointmade.
