Biography

A business consultant, adviser, speaker and executive coach with thirty-five years’ experience, Rob Nankervis specialises in guiding Founder/Owners, CEOs and senior executive teams in driving growth, overcoming performance challenges, and building value in their midsize organisations.

In a career that has encompassed both senior functional leadership roles and a broad spectrum of consulting assignments, Rob has built the commercial acumen and communication skills to relate across industries and from shop floor to boardroom table.

Rob facilitates executive strategy retreats, leads quarterly team review sessions, coaches senior leaders, runs regular public training events and is sought as a speaker on leadership, performance and growth.

Before starting his own mid-tier advisory and coaching business in 2013, he was a Director of Performance Improvement within Ernst & Young’s advisory practice and, prior to that, Client Partner and part-owner at boutique leadership advisory firm Oppeus International.

With qualifications in accounting and business, Rob is a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Institute of Company Directors, and the Governance Institute. He is a Certified International Coach with Scaling Up, a Certified Executive Coach, host of the Propelling Performance Podcast, author of Propelling Performance and writer of the popular Rob’s Insights leadership column. He has been appointed to the Global Advisory Board of Scaling Up.

Rob’s is driven by his purpose of helping other leaders achieve their highest potential, and making their organisations great places to work through illuminating possibility and facilitating change. His own BHAG is to positively impact 5000 businesses in the next fifteen years.
