Biography

Matt Elliott is the Founder and Managing Director of The Change Room – one of Australia’s leading programs in the mindset and wellbeing space, helping individuals and organisations improve performance, resilience and return-to-work outcomes.

A former professional rugby league player and NRL head coach, Matt has successfully transitioned from the field to the forefront of mental fitness, establishing a nationally recognised preventative and early intervention program. The Change Room has transformed the lives of thousands across corporate, government and community sectors and was recently nominated for the Excellence in Personal Injury and Disability Management Award.

Matt’s distinguished coaching career includes leading roles with the Canberra Raiders, Penrith Panthers, New Zealand Warriors, Bradford Bulls in the UK Super League, and the United States national team. He began his NRL journey as a player with the St George Dragons and continues to influence the game as an analyst for FOX Sports, NRL.com and ABC Grandstand. In 2021, Matt rejoined the coaching staff at St George Illawarra Dragons.
