Biography

Christian is currently an owner and Director with the Sentius Group Pty Ltd. Sentius is a full service ‘consulting agency’, providing complete, in house, single partner services across digital, strategy, creative, and media.

Christian has over 34 years’ experience in business strategy, integrated marketing both traditional and digital, and has worked with multinational companies on a global basis.

From 1985 – 2003 Christian was a Director of The Marketing Store Worldwide headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and drove international growth and infrastructure of the company from its inception in 1986 to a multinational agency generating billings of over US$750 million annually with 600 employees and 19 offices worldwide.

A key role was the development of the McDonald’s Happy Meal Business, including the creative design, development and manufacturing infrastructure for the toys. Christian was responsible for the acquisition of international agency networks and held positions as Managing Director for the Americas, Managing Director Asia Pacific and Managing Director Global Accounts for the Agency during his tenure.

He was founder and Managing Director of Digital Spark Pty Ltd an interactive touch screen company with screens across Melbourne Australia’s CBD, Federation Square and Executive Taxis in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne between 2004 – 2008. Marketing Director at Swish Ltd in 2009 – 2010 and partner and Director of The Shape Group from 2010 – 2013.

Christian was CEO at ProjectProject Pty Ltd a digital marketing and branding agency from 2014 – 2016 managing its sale to The Edtrin Group Ltd in 2015.

He formed Bright Future Enterprises Pty Ltd a boutique business consultancy working with a range of NGOs, Charities and SMEs in 2015 – 2018 when he joined Sentius.

Christian has always had a keen interest in supporting the community, he was a part of the Big Brother program while in university, has designed and managed global campaigns for RMHC while at the Marketing Store and was a Director on the Board of the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation in Melbourne serving under both Lord Mayors John So and Robert Doyle for 6 years. He also served as a Director on the Board of The United Way Australia for 3 years.

He holds BAs in Business and Economics from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and attended the Executive MBA program at Wharton University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in marketing.

Career Highlight

Development of the McDonald’s Happy Meal Program and helping to growth of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation’s Corpus of Funds from A$40M to $160M over 6 years.
